Junior Bears wrestled in Twin County
The Lyndhurst junior wrestling squad recently participated in the Twin County District and Regional Tournaments. The Junior Bears fared well in competition. Bringing home the gold (first place) for Lyndhurst were Christopher Motichka, Mike Trasso, Tyler Crowe, Gabe De LaCruz, and Michael De Marco. Silver medallists (second place) were Michael Giuliano, Mike Walker, Billy Rehbein, Kevin Pederson, and John Griswold. Bronze (third place) winners were Kevin Rehbein, Joe Deiudicibus, David Voza, Daniel Kesack, Mark Basile, Charlie Maracle, Gary Wolff, and Jim Gangi. All of the above wrestlers advanced to the Regional Tournament held at Hackensack High School. Michael De Marco proudly took home a first place medal for the Bears. Also placing for Lyndhurst were Christopher Motichka, who placed second, and John Griswold, placing third.
